Luqman’s Fables in the lists of the manuscript of the National Library and the Library of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts

The author examines different copies of one manuscript — a collection of fables by Luqman. The author describes in details the specific features of the manuscripts which are stored at the Institute of Oriental manuscripts as well as in the manuscript collection of the National Library.
The article describes the material condition of manuscripts (size, paper quality, condition of the cover etc.) and analyzes the content of the work. The author of the article gives examples of fables from the collection of Luqman, pays particular attention to the text of the manuscripts, highlights the stylistic and grammatical features of the text, compares the texts of different lists of the same manuscript.
