Cultural and linguistic aspects of wedding ceremonies in Arab countries

Abstract

This article reviews the history of wedding traditions in different Arab countries and provides an insight into their linguistic aspects. Examples are given of wedding speeches and congratulations, proverbs about marriage and family, wedding songs, etc.
