Abstract

In the article we have examined two copies of one composition Kitāb аs-Sādih wa-l-bāġim (Book of singer, melodious voice owner) from the FAAS Library, as well as three lists of the same manuscript, from the Manuscript Department of the Berlin State Library. The work Kitāb аs-Sādih wa-l-bāġim is a collection of poetry, which simulates in its form the well-known work of Ibn al-Muqaffa “Kalila and Dimna”, in which the main characters are the animals. The article analyzes the content of the composition, also linguistic and stylistic features of the text are studied. In addition, we have examined characteristics of all the lists of this manuscript.
