On the stylistics of the Liu E novel “The Travels of Lao Can”
Abstract
The article focuses on the stylistic features of the Chinese diatribe novel (beginning of XX c.). According to folklore and story-telling tradition we first of all find these features in detailed and stereotype description of appearance and dress of characters in “The Travels of Lao Can” by Liu E.
