Narrative structure of Mongolian speaking peoples’ fairy tales
Abstract
The aim of the article is to determine main narrative structure types of Mongolian speaking peoples’ fairy tales. To reach this aim eight Kalmyk, one buriat and one Mongol fairy tale were analysed according to the V. Propp’s scheme of fairy tale structure. The analysis clearly showed us that fairy tales of Mongolian speaking peoples are mainly multi-linear and complicated.
