The first edition of the concordance of Biblia Hebraica. (Based on the exemplars from the collection of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences)
Abstract
The article deals with the first edition of the concordance of Biblia Hebraica (“Meir Nativ”. Venetia, 1523) and represents the history of its creation, examines the problem concerning the authorship of the book and its role in the development of Biblical studies. It also provides a scientific description of two exemplars of the concordance from the collection of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
