Historiographical survey of “funu shi yanjiu”
Abstract
The studies on “women ’s history” (“funu shi yanjiu”) in China are characterized by two periods: the first one lasted during the fi rst half of the 20th century, the second one started in 1980s and still goes on. This article contains a complex historiographical survey of the most important publications on “women’s history” compiled by China mainland, Hong-Kong and Taiwan historians
