Abstract
The article examines the role of Butan and Sikkim in the context of China’s foreign policy in 1949–1962. The author has attempted to identify changes in the position of Chinese authorities towards these countries against the backdrop of a gradual rise of tension in Sino-Indian relations. Refs 12.
