Diplomatic correspondence between Tunisia and Russia in the 1860s

Abstract

Some documents from the National Archives of Tunisia are analyzed. They reflect an important stage in the development of diplomatic relations between Tunisia and the Russian Empire. Special attention is given to the internal political situation and foreign policy of Tunisia at the time.
