Elements of the absurd poetics in the works of Chinese poets of the “New period”
Abstract
The article discusses some elements of the absurd poetics in the works of the “Misty” poets and “New generation” poets. Historical, social, cultural factors identified why different generations of poets used the absurd poetics. The problem of the absurd poetics is considered on the content and structural levels. “Misty” poets overcome the propaganda nature of the official discourse, introduce elements of modernism and postmodernism. “New generation” poets prefer linguistic experiments, the reconstruction of linguistic norms. Parallelism and anaphora are widely used in their carefully organized texts, their works have influenced, in particular, the idea of “chosisme”, “a theory of pure surface” of Alain Robbe-Grillet.
