Modernization and tradition in the cultural perspective of modern Tunisia
Abstract
The article is dedicated to the problem of the clash of two fundamental trends that currently are obvious in the development of the local civilizations of the Middle East. The forms of their confrontation and the results of their interaction in the Arab world in general and in Tunisia in particular, are examined in the article. The relevance of this work is an innovative approach to the study of the issue that is particularly acute in the present day in terms of political instability and serious social change. The scientific literature of the recent years, in the Russian, European and Arabic languages, as well as videos in Tunisian Arabic, was used in the process of writing this article. Refs 11.
