Memoires by Nicolay Verba (1882–1953) as unknown historical source on Russian-Iranian relations at the beginning of XX c.
Abstract
The article is devoted to unpublished and unknown memoires handwritten by Russian officer Nicolay Verba (1882–1953), who served as military instructor in Persian Cossacks Brigade from October 1913 till October 1920. The Memoires shed a clear light upon Russian presence in Persian army and the interesting peculiarities of Iranian political elite life.
