An unknown map of the city of Kabul from the archives of the Russian Geographical Society.
Abstract
The article is dedicated to the study of the unknown document from the Archives of the Russian Geographical Society. It is a copy of an annotated map of Kabul — the capital of Afghanistan acquired by the Russian colonel Grigoriy Shpilko who was at the beginning of the XX century a commander of the Russian garrison stationed near the Afghan Border at the Russian Pamir.
