Kurds in the 19th-century Russian periodicals
Abstract
The article reviews the Russia—Kurdistan relationship as described in the 19th century Russian periodicals. As the war action drew closer to Kurdish settlements in the early 19th century, the relationship between the two countries grew stronger. It is suggested that further analysis of Russian periodicals would lead to better understanding of the Kurdish question that is still relevant today.
