Abstract

The article discusses a less-studied issue in sinology, i.e. the development of national character and ethnic consciousness in Chinese people as a function of a particular geographic environment. Based on comprehensive original research, it is shown how the place of residence might influence the static and dynamic ethnopsychology in Chinese people.
