The family of Banu Hajjaj in the political history of al-Andalus
Abstract
The article is devoted to the history of the family of Banu Hajjaj that descends from the Yemenite tribe Lakhm. The family played an important role in the political history of the Muslim state in the Iberian Peninsula. The article tells about the relationship between the clans of Banu Hajjaj and Banu Khaldun, as well as mentions the role of the confrontation between adnanites and qahtanites in this period of the history of al-Andalus.
