Индия и Китай в Южной Азии: борьба за политическое и экономическое влияние в регионе

Аннотация

Статья посвящена анализу политики Индии и Китая в Южной Азии и ключевых элементов их взаимодействия со странами региона. Авторы изучают данный вопрос
с точки зрения соперничества двух азиатских гигантов за региональное лидерство и конкуренции за политическое и экономическое влияние в южноазиатских государствах. В исследовании рассматриваются интересы Индии и Китая в изучаемом регионе, оцениваются исторические аспекты присутствия двух стран на этих территориях. В статье отмечается, что в настоящее время Китай проводит активную политику на южноазиатском направлении, причем его деятельность сосредоточена в основном на реализации различных проектов в рамках инициативы «Пояс и путь». Китай развивает торговые и инвестиционные связи со странами региона, военное сотрудничество, участвует в афганских делах. Особое внимание в статье уделяется недавним событиям, связанным с глобальной пандемией коронавируса, и усилиям, предпринятым Индией и Китаем для борьбы с последствиями распространения заболевания, восстановления разорванных экономических связей и извлечения выгоды из сложившейся ситуации для налаживания более тесного взаимодействия с южноазиатскими государствами. Авторы исследования отмечают, что подобная деятельность КНР в Южной Азии вызывает сильное беспокойство Индии и рассматривается как угроза национальной безопасности. Благодаря своим финансовым вложениям в экономики региональных государств Китай не только вытесняет Индию с территорий ее традиционного влияния, но и получает различные преимущества и привилегии в этих странах, а также доступ к стратегическим ресурсам и активам. Индия стремится восстановить и укрепить свои позиции в Южной Азии, однако на данный момент ей сложно соперничать с мощной
китайской экономикой, и по многим показателям индийское государство проигрывает своему китайскому соседу с точки зрения присутствия в регионе и влияния на политику и экономику Южной Азии.
